OCG’s Identity and Cybersecurity Forums, New York
Two great days of LEARNING, discussion & NEtworkING
Our new series of Identity and Cybersecurity Forums got off to a highly successful start at Microsoft’s HQ in New York on May 10 (Business Focus for CISOs and CTOs) and May 11 (Technical Focus).
With the news of the WannaCry ransomware attack breaking around us, our focus on the broad range of critical cybersecurity challenges that organizations now face – and how to turn them into opportunities – could not have been more topical or important.
Through insightful business-focused presentations, technical deep-dives, lively discussions, case studies, networking breaks, and one-to-one sessions, delegates from industries including financial services, health care and education:
- Learned about the latest approaches to cybersecurity from senior technical staff from OCG (including our CTO) and from our partners Savyint and Lookout
- Got practical tips on how to improve their security posture
- Heard a case study presented by Rob Conlin from Hackensack Meridian Health that described the IT pain points following the merger of two large healthcare organizations, and how they have now improved their security and collaboration capabilities
- Had the chance to share ideas with others facing similar technological challenges, and using similar solutions, such as Azure AD, AD, EMS, and MIM
