Using Azure Cognitive Services for User Profile Photo Synchronization
How can Azure Cognitive Services help solve tricky photo synchronization issues?
User profile photos have become a common component of business applications and a standard part of user profiles. Many organizations are using a modern human capital management system, such as SAP Success Factors, that allows users to upload photos as part of the on-boarding process. Office 365 applications also allow the uploading of profile photos.
But syncing these user profile photos across applications can be complicated. There are different size restrictions, multiple photo stores, and varying synchronization times between HR systems, Office 365, and other applications.
The photos themselves can also complicate things – not all photos are not created equal. Sometimes the photo is not centered, the photo is too large, multiple formats are used, or the photo contains inappropriate content that is not suitable for a user profile photo.
There must be a way to automate things and provide all applications with a profile photo, right? Of course there is!
In this webinar recording, Oxford Computer Group CTO Chris Lloyd and Senior Consultant Jordan Stelzl show you how Azure Cognitive Services can be used to efficiently solve these photo challenges within your photo synchronization configuration. You’ll learn:
- How photo stores in Office 365 work
- How to synchronize photos across Office 365 services,
- How Azure Cognitive Services can be used to correct common photo issues.
