Ignite 2017 – An Exciting Week for Microsoft Identity and Security
This year’s Ignite must have been the best ever for identity professionals and organizations with complex identity management requirements.
Alex Simons and Nasos Kladakis’ keynote contained a number of exciting announcements that further cement Microsoft’s status as the world’s best identity management platform. You can see an overview of all the announcements here.
Saviynt announces integration with Microsoft Azure
Oxford Computer Group has long been one of Microsoft’s leading identity and security partners. For the last year, we have also been Saviynt’s only Microsoft-focused partner.
So we are really excited about the new Saviynt/Microsoft partnership which was announced at Ignite, and the integration between Azure Active Directory and Saviynt’s Identity Governance Administration (IGA) 2.0 capabilities. We’ve been involved in these discussions since the beginning so are extremely happy to see them come to fruition.
The Saviynt/Azure integration will enable us to combine Microsoft’s world-class identity management capabilities with Saviynt’s break through governance capabilities to solve complex identity management issues while maintaining the proper level of governance and compliance required in today’s high-risk environment.
Celebration time!
Of course, the conference was not all work and no play! We hosted a highly popular joint event at the Minus5 Ice Bar in Orlando together with Saviynt and Crossmatch, another key partner of ours focused on solving complex biometric multifactor authentication issues.
There was a lot to celebrate, and over 120 attendees braved minus 5-degree temperatures to drink out of ice glasses and roll cigars! Although it was pretty cold (OK, really cold), a great night was had by all! Check out the photos.
